Allison Cara Tolman has been an actor for more than twenty years. The actress is most famous for her character Molly Solverson in the first season of Fargo, the first season of FX the television show Fargo. It earned her Emmy as well as Golden Globe nominations. Tolman grew up with two older siblings as well as one younger. The family relocated to England when she was a little over a month old. She stuck around until she turned four years old. Fargo is the 1996 Coen Brothers film, starred Billy Bob Thornton (as Molly Solverson), Martin Freeman (as Bob Odenkirk) and Bob Odenkirk. Tolman has been praised for her performance in the role of Minnesota Police Officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair said that Tolman was "calmly sure of taking over the whole show". Critics' Choice Television Award, Best Supporting Actress (Movie/Miniseries) as well as Golden Globe nominations were presented to Tolman for her performance.
